iPod Nano 5th Generation Review

Apple iPod is a worldwide known brand. It allows you to listen to music anywhere. In this article I am going to be reviewing the latest iPod nano, the iPod nano 5th generation (5G).

iPod Nano 5th Generation BlueThe iPod nano 5G was released in September 2009, and since then has become hugely popular. The thing that makes the nano better than normal MP3 players is its awesome features.

For starters, the nano can not only play high quality music through the headphones, but it can also play music through an internal speaker - this however is not as good quality.

The nano can not only play music though, it can also play/display other multimedia such as pictures, videos and podcasts. On the 5G you can even play live radio, and if that wasn't good enough, you can pause it and rewind it.

So other than playing all kinds of multimedia and listening to the radio, what else can you do with your iPod? Well with 5G Apple took a huge leap, and the nano can now take video.

Play multimedia, listen to and rewind the radio, take video, that must be it, right? Wrong! The nano can do so much more! Below is a list of just a handful of things that the iPod nano 5G can do:
  • Play, and shuffle music
  • Play videos
  • Display photo's
  • Play podcasts
  • Tune into and pause and rewind FM radio
  • Take video
  • Play games
  • Count your steps with its free inbuilt Pedometer
  • Remind you things with alarms
  • Store your diary in its inbuilt calendar
  • And so much more!
The amazing thing about the iPod nano 5th generation is that it can do all of this inside its tiny 3.6 inch high, 1.5 inch wide and 0.24 inch deep case. If all this isn't enough, it even comes in nine stylish colours!

The battery life is five hours of video, or twenty four hours of music. However there is a major drawback to do with the iPod power. You can only charge your iPod via USB - unless you buy an additional charger. This extra cost makes this already expensive gadget even more costly.

However, I personally love the iPod nano 5G and would recommend it to anyone who likes music on the go!

I rate the iPod nano 5th Generation 9/10.
