Happy Birthday to my technology blog! On this day last year I posted my very first article on my technology blog. As its been one year, since its launch, I thought that I would give you a little history about my tech blog in this article.
Originally I set up my social blog on the 28th of May 2009. I hadn't really thought about creating another blog at the time, but then my friend Matty Batty invited me to write a guest article on his blog. After no time at all I decided to write an article on how to speed up Windows XP, and article which I would later post on my own technology blog. This was launched on the 27th of July 2009.
A few days later I thought of posting another article, on topic which really interested me at the time, which was the battle of Microsoft and Google. This was because Microsoft had just launched its new search engine Bing and Google had announced its new operating system, Chrome OS had. | |

 | | This time though, as it was my second article I thought, why not set up a section on my blog, where I can post technology articles, so I did, and posted my Microsoft Vs Google article on my own blog on the 10th August and then later on Matty Batty's blog on the 13th August.
This then had a massive snowball effect, and I started posting loads more articles. I re-posted my Speed Up Windows XP article, then posted one on Frenergy and Ecosale, then a Review of Firefox, after an article on Website Validity and it carried on.
By the end of August I had posted an amazing 15 articles! Unfortunately this was unsustainable, and my posting dramatically decreased with only 6 articles being posted in September. However, my blog wasn't about to die just yet! |
By the end of the year I had posted 32 articles. The posting continued into 2010 and today, I posted my 74th article, and also this article, making this my 75th article! Not only special, because its my blogs birthday, but also because it now has 75 articles! That is an average of an article every 5 days - well 4.867 to be precise!
So happy 75th article, and happy birthday my technology blog! Why not take this momentous day to read some of my past articles, they can all be found in the archive.
