What is Technorati?
Technorati is basically a search engine for blogs. It is where you can go to if you want to find a blog on just about anything. It is also where - if you have one - you can submit your blog, to make it easier for the world to find.

How can I join Technorati?
Anyone can join Technorati; its free and you don't have to give away too many personal details: just your full (real) name, your email address. You then make a membership name, and a password and your done!

What can I do with a Technorati account?
If you own a blog, you can submit your blog to Technorati and it will make it much easier for people to find, as it will appear in their blog search. You can also use Technorati to bookmark your favourite blogs.

How do I submit my blog to Technorati?
Log into your account, then mouse over the word blogs on the navigation bar, and click on My Blogs; click Claimed Blogs, and then Claim a new blog ». Enter the URL of your blog, then Technorati will give you a code to put on your site to prove you own it. The best way to do it is to write a short article about joining Technorati, put the code in it, and then post the article on your homepage, and in your RSS Feed (the code must also be in your RSS Feed). After you have been approved, fill in your blog details and you're done!

What happens after I have submit my blog to Technorati?
Your blog will be included in the Technorati search, and you will be given a badge which you can put on your site, so that people can add your blog to their Technorati favourites. You will also get a widget that you can also put on your blog. Below is my Technorati badge.
